Rental Agreement Terms

The parties to this agreement are the Lessor (FurRento) and the Lessee (customer).

Lessee Agrees

1. Tenure

Contract has a lock in period equivalent to the tenure selected at the time of booking and subjected to a minimum of 6 (six) months. 

Rental rates vary according to the tenure selected. The longer the tenure selected the lesser will be the rent per month for any particular item.

If the Lessee decides to end the contract before the completion of the agreed Lock-in period then the rent per month would be calculated as per the slab in which the Actual tenure availed by the Lessee becomes applicable. The Difference would have to be paid by the Lessee immediately. The slabs are as mentioned below for references.

 Between 12 to 17 Months | 12 Months

 Between 18 to 23 Months | 18 months

 Between 24 to 35 Months | 24 Months

 36 months and above | 36 months

1 (one) month notice is a must for termination of contract after the Lock-in period during the tenure of the agreement, failing which one month’s rental would have to be paid. Notice for termination to be emailed on support@FurRento.com

If the monthly rent is not paid within 2 (TWO) weeks of due date, Lessor has the right to pick up the rented items back from Lessee’s premises and refund balance if remaining from security deposit within two weeks.

 

2. Payment process

Product can be booked by paying amount which equals the monthly rent for the same. Lessee will get confirmation call from support team to book date of delivery.

Shipping is free (subject to a minimum order of Rs 2000/- Per month) to the Lessee and will be paid by the Lessor. 

Installation of Fridge, Microwave and Washing Machine is free. AC installation would be charged depending upon the amount of work and fitting materials that would be required. Lessee can avail quotation by technician prior to booking also by contacting customer care on 8879778881.

Discounts if any offered on rental amounts would not be applicable on refundable deposit amount.

Extra charges if any have to be paid at the time of delivery. This will be discussed before the delivery.

Billing cycle is from 1st to end of every month. First month’s rent will be calculated on a pro-rata basis from the date of delivery until the end of the month.

Advance rentals have to be paid online on the account details provided before 10th of every month (due date) but after completion of initial three months for which advance rental has already been paid to avoid late payment charges (2% of outstanding amount).

Customers are requested to inform the Lessor one month prior to their contract closing date for contract termination and reverse pick up of products. Upon any delay in the same, the customer would be liable to pay the due amount for product usage.

Refundable deposit does not include advance rentals. It is a security deposit which takes care of damages if any and defaulters.

 

3. Delivery process

Payment of advance rent and security deposit along with a copy of required documents has to be completed on or before the delivery of the product to the Lessee. No further delay would be allowed/ permitted whatsoever after the final delivery of the product to the Lessees premises.

Lessee or his/her representative has to be present at the agreed date and time. Otherwise shipping charges as applicable would have to be borne by the Lessee.

Photo of the Lessee along with the delivered items would be taken for our records.

The Lessee should ensure permission for entry of delivery vehicle upto the building lobby/ entrance and the permission for usage of lift for delivering the goods. In cases of absence of Lift at Lessees premises and/or where permission to use Lift or access to lobby is not available for delivery vehicle then additional Labour to carry the items upto lobby and/or through staircase would be provided by the Lessor but at additional cost which would be intimated in advance to the Lessee upon disclosure of such and would be borne by the Lessee himself. This amount may vary as per order and floor where Lessee lives.

Delivered items cannot be returned unless they have major defects or non-functional. Once accepted by Lessee or his/her representative at the time of delivery, items will not be replaced before completion of the tenure.

One signed copy of the contract is to be kept by each party.

 

4. Pick-up process

Lessee has to inform Lessor at least 2 weeks prior to the end of the contract if he wants to extend or close the contract by email on support@FurRento.com.

Upon 

Pick-up date and time will be mutually decided by Lessee and Lessor.

Lessee has to be present at the agreed date and time. Otherwise extra logistics charge will be charged as per actual.

Photos taken at the time of delivery will be matched to ascertain damages if any.

 

5. Damage policy

The Lessee agrees to pay for any damage to, loss of, or any theft (disappearance) of items, regardless of cause or fault. Item damaged beyond repair will be paid for at its Market Price.

Any variation showing damages, if ascertained as not caused by normal wear and tear, would be charged and would have to be borne by the Lessee.

 

6. Refund policy

At the time of pick-up, a damage report will be generated. A clean chit or list of damages will be handed over to Lessee by representative of Lessor.

Once the items are at premises of Lessor, they will undergo quality checks to determine the repair cost. Repair cost shall be adjusted and the balance amount from refundable deposit will be deposited to Lessee’s account. This might take 7-10 working days.

 

 7. Maintenance policy

Maintenance of electronic appliances will be taken care of by Lessor for the entire tenure of the contract. This does not cover damages or breakdowns due to mishandling.

Complaints/ Issues should be reported to support@FurRento.com

Service/ visit/ labour charges between Rs 250 to Rs 500 would be payable to technician as applicable depending on the nature of work.

Such issues will be addressed within one week of reporting. In case the issue is not resolved within 1 week, the lessee will not be liable to pay rent for the time elapsed after the 1 week period.

 

 8. Disclaimer

FurRento reserves the right to cancel the orders placed completely or partially without prior information and to refund the complete amount paid within 7 working days back to the Customer.

Any current/ future orders placed by the Lessee would have no connection to past orders placed by them.
